140.How will you handle the loss of luggage at the port of entry?(如何处理在入境口岸行李丢失?)

★If the luggage is found missing at the port of entry, make sure that the tourist has filled out the airline’s missing luggage form and has the name of the airline person in charge and his/her contacting telephone number.

★Inform the tourist that you will keep in contact with the airline while he/she is in your city.

★Help the tourist get things that are needed before the luggage is located (such as small items of daily necessities).

★If the missing luggage fails to show up before the group leaves your city, inform the travel company or the next stop to trace the luggage.

★After the group leaves, keep a record of all related situations.

☆如游客在入境口岸没有拿到行李,确保游客已填写航空公司提供的行李遗失表格并留有联系人姓名及电话号码。

☆告诉游客在团队逗留期间,你会与航空公司保持联系。

☆协助游客购买急需用品(通常是日用品)。

☆如在旅行团离开你所在的城市之前,行李仍未找到,通知组团社或下一站地接社,以便继续追踪行李去向。

☆旅游团离开后,做好相关记录备案。

【备注】入境口岸行李丢失,通常领队会协助游客填写相关 表格(包括行李运输事故记录单PIR,记录单上设有“延误行李登记编号”,可通过编号自行上网查询行李进度。)。导游在协助游客购买急需用品时,正常情况下不要替游客支付费用,因为相关的保险赔付会直接打进被保险人登记的银行账号。向游客说明情况,并请游客自行支付相关费用。行李查找一般需要21天,如果21天后行李仍未找到,旅客有权提出索赔要求。
