★As a tour guide, he/she should be familiar with relevant laws and regulations. (For example, inform tourists there is a limit to the amount of Chinese medicines one can take out of China’s mainland for personal use: tourists are allowed to carry no more than RMB 300 yuan’s worth of traditional Chinese medicines and patent drugs; those bound for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan no more than RMB 150 yuan. Items such as musk, rhinoceros horn and tiger bone are prohibited to be taken out of country.)
