F:Good evening, sir and ma’am.Welcome to our fitness center.How may I help you?

G:Good evening.We’re fond of exercises.Would you please tell us something about the facilities here?

F:Of course, sir.We have an indoor swimming pool, a gym with full facilities, a bowling alley, a billiard room and a wonderful sauna.This way, please, sir and ma’am.Look! We have barbells,rowing, weight-lifting and jogging machines.

G:Are they imported or made in China?

F:Some of them are home-made, but most are imported.

G:Can we have a look at the swimming pool? We love swimming.

F:Certainly, sir and ma’am.Here is the swimming area.

G:Good! The water looks clean.

F:Thank you.And we have life guards on duty from 6:00 a.m.to 10:00 p.m.everyday.

G:Great.Thank you very much for your nice service.

F:My pleasure, sir and ma’am.

E:Good morning, welcome to our fitness center.

G:We just had a good night sleep after a long plane flight and feel the need to do some kind of exercise.

E:Well, you’ve come to the right place.

G:We don’t want to do too much, because we intend to spend the day on the Great Wall.

E:We have an excellent table tennis room.Usually you have to wait for a table, but one isn’t being used right now.

G:Great idea.How much will it cost?

E:Our rates are 50 Yuan per hour.

G:It’s a bit expensive, but we’ll take it for an hour.

E:Good.That table in the far corner on the right is free.This way, please.

B. Fitness center facilities can range from a simple swimming pool and sauna to a fully outfitted gym with trained staff.Usually people find various kinds of sports equipment in the gym center, including treadmills,stationary bikes, rowing machines, barbells, dumbbells, and the like.Tennis courts and golf courses may also be provided at some hotels.

G:I like it fine, but my friend has different tastes from me.
