2.What are some sources or bases of power in negotiation that you can apply?

Due to the complexity of multiple factors or issues,negotiators should be able to use power influence to smooth the negotiation to their benefit.By power,we mean the capabilities negotiators can assemble to give themselves an advantage or increase the probability of achieving their objectives.Of the many sources of power that exist,we consider five major ones:the power of information and expertise; the power derived from personality and individual differences; the benefits of power that may derive from one’s structural position in an organization or network,including control over resources; the nature of the relationship between the negotiating parties and the power derived from the specific context of a negotiation.
