The next part of the process is the security checking area.This is a very important process that everyone has to do and is for the safety of all air travelers.There will be another queue to join and waiting times can vary a lot.It may be noisy crowded with possibility warm,even high temperatures.Again,it will be important to check to have none of the prohibited items for a travel.When you arrive at the security check area,you will be asked to do several things that may feel uncomfortable or unusual,but these things are important for all air travelers to ensure safety.You will be asked to place any hand luggage or bags you’ve be taken onto the plane in to a special tray.You will also have to place any loose items,like phones,electronic devices,keys,coins and any other metallic items into this tray.

You may even be asked to remove your shoes,belts,brooches or tie-pins,if they are metallic or have metal on.The tray will then pass through a machine that can see inside your bag or other items with X-rays.You will then be asked to individually pass through a big arch that is a metal detector machine to check you haven’t forgotten to place any items in the tray,but sometimes an alarm sound will go off as you pass through the arch.This will indicate to the security people that there is still something metallic on you or in your pocket.If this happens,there will be an additional check made by an individual security person.You may be asked to allow a security person to rub a small piece of cloth on your shoes.The swab will then be placed into a detector machine and will check for any prohibited chemicals or substances.

Once scanner checks are completed,you’ll be asked to collect your items from your tray at the end of the conveyor system.The conveyor system is often quite loud and clunky.

Good morning,everybody.My name is Becky and I will be transferer force for you on holiday in the Costa Brava,taking you to your resorts.I’d just like to welcome you on behalf of Sen Travel to the beautiful,rugged coast of the Costa Brava and your driver this morning is Juan,so big Hola to Juan.(Hola!)

Just a few rules while we are on Juan’s coach.Please refrain from smoking,eating,and drinking.There is air conditioning above your heads that you can adjust.Please,if you have a seat belt,put it on.Please don’t recline your seats.Stay seated throughout the whole of the journey.Put your arm rest up in the horizontal position and keep the aisles free from luggage and legs.The local time now is 11 o’clock so if you haven’t adjusted your watches please do so.We are one hour ahead of the UK.

Our journey time this morning will take us around 45 minutes to get to our first resort of Lloret de Mar and then we’ll carry on through down to Blanes.As you got on the coach this morning,I did give you a card and that is with regards to welcome-get-together.Whilst you are here on holiday in the Costa Brava with Sen Travel,you will have your own holiday rep,they will give you lots of information about your accommodation and resort.And we do find it really useful that you do turn up to welcome-get-together and they can also answer any questions that you may have,and they’ll also tell you about all the fantastic days and nights out that Sen Travel have to offer.
