旅游团中部分游客因食用了海产品出现呕吐、腹泻、乏力、昏迷等症状，导游员应如何处理？这是食物中毒产生的急性肠炎症状，如果抢救不及时，会有生命危险。导游员应该：

1.立即设法催吐，并让患者多喝水以加速排泄，缓解毒性。

Help him vomit immediately.Let him drink plenty of water to accelerate excretion and ease the toxicity.

2.立即将患者送往医院抢救治疗，请医生开具诊断证明。

Send the victim to hospital for immediate treatment,and ask the doctor to issue a diagnosis certificate.

3.立即报告旅行社，注意收集现场证据以便追究供餐单位的责任。

Report to the travel agency immediately and gather evidence for future compensation.

★ Sample Dialogue—Food Poisoning

Joe has just arrived at the hotel after dinner.He finds himself poisoned.He calls Cheng Yu for help.

Cheng Yu:Hello,Mr.Smith.

Joe:Oh,Cheng Yu,sorry to bother you so late,but I feel not well now.

Cheng Yu:What’ the matter?

Joe:I had a stomachache,and I threw up twice...

Cheng Yu:1._______________________(我想你可能是食物中毒了).Calm down! 2.___________________________(尽量多喝水),because vomit is useful.I’ll be there in 5 minutes.

(Cheng Yu comes to Joe’s room)

Cheng Yu:Do you feel better?

Joe:A little.But my stomach still hurts.

Cheng Yu:3.___________________________(我已经向公司汇报了).Don’t worry.4.___________________________(我立刻送你去医院).Can you walk? Do you need ambulance?

Joe:No,I can walk.

Cheng Yu:Lean on me,let me help you.Take it easy,Joe.The taxi is waiting for us,let’s go to the hospital.

(They took the taxi and arrived at hospital; the doctor examined Joe and prescribed him medicine.)

Cheng Yu:You looks much better.

Joe:Yes,I feel much better now.Thank you so much!

Cheng Yu:I just did my job,Joe! Wait a minute,I’m getting the certificate provided by the hospital,it’s for your insurance.

Joe:OK! It’s very nice of you.

Cheng Yu:5._________________________(你能回忆下今天吃的食物吗)? Is there any food you may be allergic to?

Joe:Nothing special as I remember.I’m allergic to sea fish,but I didn’t eat any sea fish dish today.

Cheng Yu:Never mind,maybe we can figure it out later.You must be tired,let’s go back to the hotel to rest.

Joe:That’s exactly what I thought.Thanks again!

Cheng Yu:My pleasure.Take care and call me anytime if you feel ill.

Joe:OK! See you tomorrow!
