地陪导游员去机场接团，到达机场后得知团队航班晚点，地陪导游员应如何处理？

1.立即向机场询问处查询该航班晚点的时间、原因，确认后应重新安排接待事宜。

Inquire about the reason for the delay immediately,and then rearrange the reception program after confirmation.

2.通知旅行社变更餐饮、入住宾馆时间，通知旅游车司机飞机抵达的时间和接站车辆做准备工作。

Inform the travel agency to change the time for catering and checking in.Inform the tour bus driver the arrival time and ask him to get prepared.

3.由于飞机晚点，必须调整下午和晚上的活动安排，并衔接计调对修改事宜做好落实工作。

The original arrangement for the afternoon and evening should be adjusted.The adjustment should be conducted with the tour operator.

★ Sample Dialogue—Flight Delay

Cheng Yu is going to receive tourists whose flight should arrive at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport at 10 o’clock.But when he has arrived at the airport,he finds that the flight is delayed.

Cheng Yu:Excuse me,I need to pick up guests on the Flight CA3048.But the arrivals board shows that this flight is delayed.Could you tell me why?

Officer:I’m sorry,1.___________________________(因为天气情况恶劣，大部分的航班都延误了).It might be at least 4 hours till the planes can land.

Cheng Yu:OK,thanks.

Cheng Yu made a call to the hotel.

Receptionist:Good morning,this is the Grand Hotel of Chengdu,how may I help you?

Cheng Yu:Hi,this is Cheng Yu,tour guide of CYTS.I’ve booked rooms for a group of tourists last month.2.___________________________(因为飞机晚点，他们今天晚些时候办理入住).Please keep the rooms for us.

Receptionist:OK,the rooms are available for you till midnight.I notice that you have also booked meals at our hotel’s restaurant for your guests.Would you like to keep them,too?

Cheng Yu:Well,I don’t think we could arrive in time for lunch.3._________________(请取消今天中午的午餐，保留晚餐).Thank you very much.I really appreciate it.

Receptionist:You’re welcome,Mr.Cheng.Thanks for your call and if there’s anything else you need,don’t hesitate to ask.

Cheng Yu then made a call to Zhang Ling,another tour guide of CYTS.

Cheng Yu:Hi,Xiao Zhang.The Flight CA3048 is delayed for 4 hours due to bad weather.4.___________________________(恐怕我们要调整日程安排了).

Zhang Ling:That’s terrible.Well,I will inform the coach driver about this first.

Cheng Yu:Thanks.I’ve already contact the hotel and cancelled the lunch.Besides,I don’t think the guests would like to watch tonight’s performance after such a long journey.

Zhang Ling:You’re right.5._________________________(明天晚上看演出更合适).

Cheng Yu:OK,I’ll be waiting for the flight here at the airport and keep you updated.Bye.

Zhang Ling:See you then.
