Now let me say a few words about Chengdu.It is one of the famous historical and cultural cities in China with a history of more than 2000 years.Located at the middle reaches of the Minjiang River in the west of Sichuan Basin,Chengdu enjoys a monsoon humid subtropical climate.The population is more than 10 million.Chengdu City is always called as “Land of Abundance” with its abundant water resources,fertile soil and opulent biological resources.As the starting point of the Southern Silk Road leading towards Europe,Chengdu has historically played an important role in the political,economical,cultural and military development of southwest China.Nowadays,Chengdu has become a blend of Sichuan food,culture,traditions,rich historical and natural sceneries as well as preserved animal species.I promise Chengdu will fill you with wonders and you are going to enjoy your stay in Chengdu.
