The annual Chinese Speech Contest for Foreigners was held in Changsha this year.This contest has been proved to be a good way to promote cultural exchanges between China and other regions of the world.It offers the young people all over the world an opportunity to know more about China.

One hundred and twenty-six contestants from 87 countries gathered in the capital of Hunan Province to take part in the semifinal and final from July 6 to August 5.
