第二节 通知

通知通常指对某一范围之内的某项活动的安排的公示，或是对某一计划改变的公示。通知一般可分为口头通知和书面通知两种。书面通知又有两种：一种是布告式通知，即以布告的形式把事情通知有关人员；另一种是书信式通知。这里只介绍布告式通知，通知的格式如下。

1.标题

标题要大写或首字母大写：NOTICE或Notice，前者更常用。为了使通知更明确、更具吸引力，通常将通知内容直接写入标题，如MEETING CHANGE NOTICE。看到这个标题，人们马上就会注意到某个会议要改时间了。

2.呼语

呼语根据通知所发对象，通常比较笼统，如Boys and girls，Ladies and gentlemen，Dear friends等。但是，许多通知常常省略呼语。

3.正文

正文要注意两个方面。一是文字简练、有吸引力。简练的目的是让读者很快明白通知内容。有吸引力的目的是吸引读者的眼球来读这篇通知，并吸引读者参加所通知的活动或注意所通知的内容。二是内容全面、清楚。通知内容包括：活动内容或主题、参与者、时间、地点等。在安排正文内容的顺序时，要根据活动内容进行调整。例如，有些活动的时间地点很重要，则需要将时间地点放在前面让读者一目了然；有些活动的参与者很重要，则需将参与者放在前面，时间放在后面等。

4.落款

落款是指发布通知的人或单位的名字或名称。

5.日期

日期是指发布通知的那一天。落款和日期也可放在通知的右下角。

下面见两个例子。

◆ 你所在单位决定举行一次万米跑步活动，请以工会的名义写一个通知张贴出去。单词数在100～120个左右。

（1）主题 长跑。

（2）时间和地点 注明清楚时间与地点。

（3）参加对象 写明参加活动的对象。

例：

NOTICE

Keep fit，healthy！Let’s run.

Our union decided to hold a 10，000-metre race on the morning of June 1^st.Whether it rains or not，the race will start at 8：00a.m..All the members of the union are welcome to participate.

Those who want to take part in the race please gather in front of the Main Building at 7：30a.m..Don’t be late.The race’s starting point is the front of the Main Building，and reach to Guangming street，straight ahead，take a U-turn at the City Post Office，return back to the Main Building along the same street.

We’ll have gifts for every runner，and special gifts for the first ten runners.

Focus on the second Wednesday shall be on poetry.

Focus on the fourth Wednesday shall be on prose.
