1. Opening an L/C means an additional cost to our imports.

2. If you promise to effect shipment one month earlier, we will agree to payment by L/C at sight.

3. We could not ship the goods by a March vessel because of the delay of your L/C.

4. Since the total amount is so big and the world monetary market is rather unstable at the moment, we can’t accept any terms of payment other than a Letter of Credit.

5. As we can’t obtain the shipping space, we would like to have the delivery date and validity of L/C extended to March 1 and March 15 respectively.
