Some sentences are not broken in proper units but contain a number of different thoughts jumbled into one sentence．Such a construction is called a run-on sentence．Often these thoughts are connected by conjunctions and run on for several lines．The reader must sort out the ideas and separate them．This is not only confusing，but a waste of time．
