The Summer Palace is the best preserved imperial garden in the world，is also the largest imperial garden in China today.It is located in the northwestern suburbs of Beijing，an area of 290 hectares，mainly by Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake.In December 1998，UNESCO included the Summer Palace，the“World Heritage List.”The directory declared that“Summer Palace artificial landscape in harmony with the natural landscape，called the Chinese landscape garden design in the design of amasterpiece.”
