I will create new paddies from untilled land,

To grow even stickier glutinous rice.

At every festival time,

We will gather yellow flowers to dye the rice,

Which will sell out at the market

Because even the Han people like that.

So that don’t fear dying of hunger,

We will plant taro in corners of the paddies,

Which will satisfy our hunger.

We will live our lives together!
