【英语里的加减乘除】

一、【加法】“+”号 在英语里一般用这三个：①and ②plus③add

-Seven and / plus eight makes fifteen. 7加8等于15。

-If you add ten to eight, you get eighteen.10加8等于18。

二、【减法】“—”号在英语里一般用这三个：

① minus ②from ③take (away)(from)

-Eight minus five is (leaves)three.8减 5等于3。/ 8减5余3。

*注：在减法里，“=”也可以用leaves, 同汉语里的“余”

-4 from 20 leaves 16.  20减4余16。

-Ten take away four is six. 10减去4得6。

三、【乘法】“x” 号在英语里一般用这两个：

① times ②multiplied by

-Five times three is / equals fifteen. 5乘以3等于15。

-Five multiplied bytwo equals ten. 5乘以2等于10。

四、【除法】“÷”号在英语里一般用这两个：

① divided by ② into

-Twelve divided by four makes three. 12除以4等于3。

-Four into twelve is three. 12除以4等于3。
