[00:03.17]Will Credit Cards Bring Harm to the Students?

[00:07.15]Recently, in order to extend business to university campus,

[00:11.39]some banks offer credit cards to college students.

[00:14.74]Many people worry that credit cards may do harm to students,

[00:18.73]while others don't think so.

[00:20.72]In my opinion,

[00:21.91]credit cards are good for students if they are used appropriately.

[00:25.91]First, when a student uses credit cards,

[00:29.33]he needn't bring much cash with him every day.

[00:32.75]And the less cash he brings,

[00:34.70]the less he needs to worry about being stolen.

[00:37.50]Second, using credit cards can minimize the chances

[00:40.98]of receiving forged notes.

[00:43.10]Students are not quite good at distinguishing forged notes,

[00:46.83]and thus often become victims of coiners.

[00:49.69]If they use credit cards,

[00:51.31]it will be very possible for them to avoid receiving forged notes

[00:55.29]because they don't need to get the changes.

[00:57.90]Third, using credit cards can help students to know more about "credit".

[01:02.77]If they don't repay their credit account in time,

[01:05.94]they will have to pay more interests and what's worse,

[01:09.43]they will get a bad credit record

[01:11.54]which will bring inconvenience to them in the future.

[01:14.78]Therefore, I believe that credit cards will not

[01:17.50]bring harm to students if used reasonably.
