老子祠内大殿正中有老子塑像，老子塑像前有一立一跪两尊塑像，跪着的是老子的弟子徐甲，站着的是位美女。传说老子为了考验徐甲学道是否心诚，将拐杖插在地上，用七香草化作一位美女，徐甲一见，动了凡心。老子于是收杖显出真身，徐甲惊恐万状，急忙跪下认罪。泥塑反映的就是这个故事。传说当年老子插杖的地方变成一眼清泉，叫做“化女泉”，位于说经台西面1千米处的地方。

大殿后是收藏各种版本的《道德经》以及历代研究《道德经》等文献典籍的“藏经阁”。

Laozi's Shrine houses a remolded statue of Laozi，with two other statues in front of his，one on its feet，the other in a squatting posture.They say the standing statue is a beauty and the squatting one is Xu Jia，one of Laozi's disciples.In order to test Xu Jia's loyalty，Laozi touched a blade of sweet grass on the ground with his walking stick，and magically turned it into a beauty.At the sight of the lady，Xu Jia was sexually aroused.When Laozi withdrew his walking stick and revealed his real self，Xu Jia was seized with panic and did not hesitate to kneel down and confess his sin before his master.This is a legendary story about the three clay statues.Again according to the legend，a spring emerged later on the spot where Laozi had touched his walking stick to the ground.It is called the HuanüSpring.It is located one kilometer west of the Shuojing Platform.

Behind the main hall is the Cangjing Chamber.It houses various editions of The Classic of the Way as well as ancient literature and books on the classic that have survived the ages.
