Overall,there are 2,882 practitioners from Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan and foreign countries engaged in financial activities in Shanghai.They mainly concentrate in banking and insurance businesses:banks have 874 expatriates and 639 from Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan;insurance companies have 657 expatriates and 178 from Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan.The remaining 534 are employed by financing leasing,markets,securities,fund,asset management and futures companies(see Figure 23).
