Among the 270,724 financial practitioners in Shanghai,there are 15,826 who have returned from overseas studies,accounting for 5.85%of the total(see Figure 11).They include:people who have studied overseas with government funding or at their own expense and have got a bachelor’s(or higher)degree from overseas education institutions;and those who have already got a bachelor’s(or higher)degree or intermediate(or higher)professional qualification in China,and have further studied overseas as visiting scholars or research fellows for a year(or more).
