The total financial service workforce in Shanghai includes:227,352 employees of financial companies,accounting for 83.98%of the total;22,251 leased staff,accounting for 8.22%of the total;21,121 other practitioners,accounting for 7.8 of the total(see Figure 9).

In this survey,the financial service workforce also includes practitioners from Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan and foreign countries working for financial companies in Shanghai.Overall,the number of financial practitioners from Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan and foreign countries is relatively small:1,047 from Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan and 1,835 expatriates(see Figure 10).
