In terms of operation site,the responding financial companies mainly concentrate in Pudong New Area,Huangpu,Xuhui District,Changning District and Hongkou District.More exactly,Pudong New Area has 859, accounting for 44.81%of the total;Huangpu District has 186,accounting for 9.7%;Xuhui District and Hongkou District have 127 and 126 respectively,each accounting for about 6.6%;Changning District has 109,accounting for 5.69%.

There are also 83 responding financial companies in Jing’an District,80 in Yangpu District,64 in Putuo District,58 in Minhang District,55 in Zhabei District,36 in Songjiang District,31 in Jiading District,30 in Fengxian District,29 in Baoshan District,15 in Jinshan District,15 in Chongming County,and 14 in Qingpu District(see Figure 4).

In terms of registration site,the top five districts having the most financial companies are Pudong New Area,Huangpu District,Xuhui District,Changning District and Hongkou District.Among them,the number of registered companies in Pudong New Area is 872,Hongkou District has 141,Huangpu District has 177,Xuhui District has 104,and Changning District has 86.Financial companies registered in Zhabei District,Jiading District,Fengxian District,Baoshan District,Jinshan District,Chongming County and Qingpu District outnumbered those operating in these districts(see Figure 5).
