The curtain of evening falls， the sea of lights arises. The whimsical steps suddenly stop at Number 68 of Taicang Road. Here the remaining of old Shanghai Gate residential area can still be traced.

The sign at the gate is different from anywhere you have seen， the colorful quasi-fan-shape glass lamps are just hanging over the alley. This is an old lane of 80-meter long， small steps leads the way up， half with antique marbles， half with classic wooden floor. The water coming out of the three lions makes you feel like staying in a fairyland. This reminds me of the old alleys with ever lasting beauty at Sicily. A complete Mediterranean feature appears in front of me again.

As I am deluged by the beautiful scenes， the sound of the opening of two ancient doors brings me back into reality, “Welcome!” A beautiful voice leads me to the lobby. The elegant sofa with the most featured fabrics is like a teenage girl sitting quietly at one corner， making you hesitate to come over to her! All furnishings are tasty， all are hand-made. Both the suspending lights on the ceiling and the little pretty chairs are so lovable that I linger on and on.

I feel that I become one of the characters in the play， with them， I laugh and cry， with separation and reunion … I ceaselessly shuttle and search in these rooms. I have really had a whole life of countless encounters within one day! Countless signs! Countless enlightenments!
