Shenlong Ecological Park　申隆生态园

Located at the bordering section of Qianqiao Town, Qingcun Town, and Fengcheng Town of Fengxian District, Shenlong Ecological Park is a green world full of life. With 75% of the total area covered by woods, the park is dotted with old trees and profuse with flowers and grass.

Stepping into the park, you will see many green islands like green emeralds mounted on the earth. Arch bridges, flowing water, small islands, a green lake, and meandering white paths form an amazing forest park. Along the gingko promenade, the hundred-year-old gingko trees stand straight and vital with the graceful Crepe myrtles on both sides.

Walking along the promenade is like entering the tunnel of time. On the left side of the promenade is a Tortoise Island, and the Eight Immortals are planting trees on a rock hill on the island. The tortoise shape of the hill is detectable, and the Eight Immortals are lifelike. With the improvement of the ecological environment, people are enjoying longevity. And on its right side is an 80-mu artificial lake with a center island encircled by green trees. It is planned that a European-style villa is going to be built on the island.

Passing the promenade walk, we will see a vast green lawn. A large number of white and gray pigeons are gamboling and fluttering on the lawn.

On the blue Swan Lake, mandarin ducks are merrily playing. Swans are lifting up their long necks and scrutinizing at the tourists.

Beside the Swan Lake is the reception center of the Ecological Park. Entering the reception center, you will see the light blue villa, the long corridor and the open deck, the office building, the food-and-beverage building, the tiny Suzhou-style garden, the outdoor swimming pool, rockeries and waterfalls, etc. It is truly a favorable environment and first-class facilities for work and relaxation.

The Birds' Garden is something unique in Shenlong Ecological Park. In the garden, there are 87 species of precious domestic and foreign birds, including the twittering larks, red-crowned cranes, laughing thrushes, red-billed leiothrixes, and the tail-flaunting peacocks as well.

The Ecological Garden offers a superb collection of fruits. The first fruit in early spring is the strawberry. In addition to the strawberry section, there are the grape section, peach section, apple section, orange section, pear section, date section, etc. Tourists can pick and taste the fresh fruits.

In the amusement park, there are quite a number of thrilling and stimulating rides for adults and 13 easy rides for children.

Amidst the green bamboos, a villa serves as the food-and-beverage center and hotel. With a capacity of seating over 300 diners at the same time, the center serves local food and provides a clean, bright and comfortable environment.

And the hotel has got 32 standard rooms and 6 suites, which are all cozily and elegantly decorated and furnished. It is an ideal place for relaxing, recuperating or holding meetings.
