One bright,white winter day,

Mouse and Poppa went out to play!

在一个明亮雪白的冬天，

小老鼠和爸爸出去玩！

"Let s go sledding!" said Poppa.

“让我们去滑雪！” 爸爸说。

Poppa slid down the hill.

爸爸从堆积的雪上滑下来。

I can do that too! thought Mouse.

Mouse slid down the hill too.

我也可以做到！小老鼠想着。

小老鼠也从雪堆上滑下来了。

"Good for you!" said Poppa.

“祝贺你啊！”爸爸说。

"Let s go skating!" said Poppa.

“咱们去溜冰吧！”爸爸说。

Poppa glided across the ice.

爸爸从冰面上滑过。

I can do that too! thought Mouse.

Mouse glided across the ice too.

我也可以做到！小老鼠想着。

他也从冰面上滑起来。

"Hooray!" said Poppa.

“万岁！”爸爸说。

"Let s make snow angels!" said Poppa.

“让我们制作一个天使吧！” 爸爸说。

Poppa made angel wings in the snow.

爸爸在雪地里做出一个天使的翅膀。

I can do that too! thought Mouse.

Mouse made angel wings in the snow too.

我也能做到！小老鼠想。

于是他也在雪里做出了天使的翅膀。

"Wonderful!" said Poppa.

“好极了！”爸爸说。

"Let s make a snow house!" said Poppa.

“让我们做个雪屋吧！” 爸爸说。

Poppa built a grand snow house.

爸爸做了一个很大的雪屋。

I can do that too! thought Mouse.

Mouse built a grand snow house too.

我也能做到！小老鼠心里想。

于是他也做了一个大大的雪屋。

"Good work!" said Poppa.

“做得好！”爸爸说。

"Let s make a surprise!" said Poppa.

Poppa rolled a round snowball.

“让我们创造一个惊喜吧！” 爸爸说。

爸爸滚了一个圆圆的雪球。

I can do that too! thought Mouse.

Mouse rolled a round snowball too.

我也能做一个，小老鼠心里想。

于是他也滚了一个圆圆的雪球。

"Just right!" said Poppa.

“做得刚刚好！” 爸爸说。

Then,tipsy-turvy,climb on top...

然后，爸爸东倒西歪的爬上了雪球的顶端。

"Look!" said Poppa.

"A frosty little snow mouse just like you!"

“看！” 爸爸说。“这个雪人老鼠多像你呀！”

"Happy winter,Mouse!"

“冬天快乐，宝贝！”
