| Step1:Warm-up & Pre-listening Enjoy some pictures and let students to learn some words about sports. Sort the sports above into the correct parts.
Make a prediction: Does Billy like sports? Step2: While-listening 1. Listen for the first time and check the answer to the question: Does Billy like sports? 2. Listen for the second time and answer the following questions: Step3:Post-listening 1. Let students read the dialogue together. 2. Find out the sentences and possible responses about sports. l What sort of sports do you like? I like playing tennis. l Do you like playing basketball? Yes, I do./No, I don’t.
3. Let students to read these sentences together. 4. Practice these sentences according to some pictures. Let students ask and answer. 5. Pair work: Use the expressions to make dialogues. Step4:Consolidation 1. Do some exercises. (1) Do exercise 1 on page64 in workbook. Then ask students to answer. (2) Do exercise 2 on page65 in workbook.
