Checklists before class
  • 1 Speaker's Ch...
  • 2 Evaluator's ...

You are ready for presenting the first speech, and please check whether you have finished the following:

  • Practice your presentation several times.

  • Review your presentation with the teacher through Wechat.

  • Discuss any special points, like in what aspect you hope he/she pay attention to, with your evaluator before giving the speech.

  • Give the evaluator your draft or outline.

  • Give the evaluator your evaluation form before you speak, so he/she can write feedback to you.

If all things are done, smile to yourself and go to the stage! Good luck!

After you finished your speech, don't be discouraged if your evaluator misunderstood your point. The evaluation is a learning-by-doing skill, just as speaking is. Your evaluator was merely showling his/her own opinion which you could simply understand as suggestions.
