Poems, unlike crosswords, don’thave a straightforward solution. In fact, a careful examination of the clueslaid by the poet may lead to more (1) ________ than answers. a.       It is time-consuming to appreciatean even very short poem because it is so rich in meaning and symbolism, withrules of form and rhythm.

b.       Appreciating a poem can be fun becauseit not only contains the idea the writer wants to express, but also has aspecial format nicely portrayed and a rhythm which can be beautifully readaloud. The more you read, the more you will dig out the deep meaning of it.
