Wang Xiaowei is having an interview. Jack, the department manager, is asking her about her plans after getting employed.)

Jack:  Where do you see yourself in three years if you get this job?

Wang: Working for your company, sir, as the top administrative assistant in your firm!

Jack:  Good answer, Miss Wang. Seriously, though, are you interested in staying in a staff-level position, or would you hope to move into management someday?

Wang: Well, I havent thought much about this. It would be too early for me to predict this. What is most important for me now is to do the best possible job for the company and learn to develop my skills.

Jack:  Miss Wang, whats your main weakness?

Wang: I tend to take a lot of work home but I am learning to find ways to make my office work more efficient.

Jack:  Fine. What do you think the relationship between a boss and his or her employees should be?

Wang: Well, a professional relationship. I think a company is a place to get work done, so an employee should be serious about his or her work responsibilities and have a professional relationship with the boss.

Jack:  OK. You can expect a call from us within five days.

Wang: Fine. Thank you again for your time.
