Grammar --- the present simple

• Permanent situations

e.g. recent job, the functions of something, the objective reality, etc.

- What do you do? 

- I am a sales representative. I work for a company that supplies computer software.

• Habits and frequency of activities (with adverbs of frequency)

e.g. daily life, activities you always do, etc.

- Do you often travel abroad?

- yes. I go to Italy two or three times a month.

• Timetables (with a time expression)

e.g. time expression of ships, bus, trains, etc.

- When does your train leave?

- It leaves at 14:45. 

• If subject is nouns plurals and first person(I or We), then verbs stay the original shape.

• If subject is nouns single or third person singular(he, she or it), then verbs change.

Practice
