同学们好：

       Welcome to the course and it’s a pleasure to have you in my class! To make sure you get all the fun and knowledge, you will have to be clear about the following issues:

    欢迎来到我的课堂和我一起学习英语。为了能让我们的课堂更加和谐，我们之间配合得更加默契，以下是大家需要了解的注意事项：

 

When and where should I attend the class?

教室在哪儿？

•       周一    教五楼518     1-17周        多媒体语音室

How long will this semester last? 

这个学期有多长？

Total 17 weeks. 

Week 12 and week 16 for holiday.  

Week 9 for mid-term exam. 

 

What should I do to achieve high score?

怎么过关拿高分

•       Final 60%+Midterm 10%+Performance 30%

•       期末考试卷面60%+月考（两次各5%）10%+平时成绩30%

   Final exam 期末考试卷面为 100分，共占总成绩的60%。

   Mid-term期中考试，卷面为100分，共占总成绩的10%。

   Performance  平时成绩构成如下，占总成绩的30%

       Attendance 10%    出勤

      In-class quiz （random）20%  课内测验 （包含课内进行的各种测试、练习、听写、单元随堂小测等。）

     Assignments: writing，translation, exercise --------25%   作业：写作，翻译，练习 （老师将随机选择5次成绩进行平均，然后折算成满分20分。）

     Activities and projects --------25% 课堂活动(课堂内进行的小组活动、讨论等)

      Oral and listening -----------20% 听说练习（课内听说练习及听力教程完成情况）

   

以上作业和练习请在学习通内提交，作业可以补交，期末考试前将截止收取。最终成绩以截止日期前的完成情况为准。

Optional: 20% additional（加分选作） 

•        Class-notes: Notes taken in class plus your comments and collections of relative materials.

•       课堂笔记：记录课堂上你认为的重点难点以及你自己补充的跟课内内容相关的学习材料和内容。

•       Writing task: Read materials or surf the internet for English materials you like and write things related to it.

•       写作任务：阅读课内材料或在网上视听读英语材料后写作相关的文章。

What should I do if I can’t attend a class?

怎样请假？

   You will need to inform the teacher in advance for missing classes. Both face to face and email informing are accepted. 

   跟老师当面提前请假或通过电话、微信请假都可以。

   You should have decent reasons for absence other than just inform the teacher of your absence. 

   请假不能只是知会老师，而需要有学校规定的正当理由和假条才成立。
