The Lantern Festival, also known as Yuanxiao Festival, is a traditional Chinese celebration marking the end of the Lunar New Year festivities. It falls on the 15th day of the first lunar month, usually in February or March. On this day, people enjoy various activities such as admiring colorful lanterns, solving riddles written on them, and eating sweet rice balls called "yuanxiao" or "tangyuan," which symbolize family unity and happiness. The festival is a time for family gatherings and cultural enjoyment, reflecting the rich heritage of Chinese traditions.
