The business unit must have a systematic process to identify and track key student performance measures for the purpose of continuous improvement. The business unit must ensure adequate resources and services to support its programs.

The Ministry of Education has a systematic process for identifying and tracking key student performance measures in Chinese universities, managed by the Higher Education Teaching Evaluation Center (https://www.heec.edu.cn/), which is responsible for data collection, organization, and analysis. As previously mentioned, GDUST has a dedicated "Evaluation and Development Planning Office" (https://www.gdust.edu.cn/pjw/ (Links to an external site.)) and "Quality Management Office" to handle data collection and reporting as required by the Ministry's management platform. The Ministry regularly issues notifications (https://www.gdust.edu.cn/pjw/xzzq/ (Links to an external site.)) specifying the data requirements and conducts training sessions for university personnel responsible for this work.

Additionally, the requirements and publication schedules for the "Undergraduate Teaching Quality Report" and the "Graduate Employment Quality Report" have been previously introduced. These reports are prepared and published periodically according to the Ministry's requirements, with the latest reports typically available on the university's official website.

Undergraduate Teaching Quality Report: https://xxgk.gdust.edu.cn/xxzl/index.aspx?lanmuid=105&sublanmuid=874&page=1 (Links to an external site.)

Graduate Employment Quality Report: https://www.gdust.edu.cn/cjx/skrz/EmplomentQualityReport/ (Links to an external site.)

For GDUST's data reporting related to the above reports, secondary colleges are required to submit both program-specific and aggregated data, particularly regarding student employment rates and postgraduate admission rates. Therefore, SFE, SOM, and SOF adhere to GDUST's unified regulations and processes for identifying and tracking key student performance measures, which align with the Ministry of Education's standards and procedures.

Of course, recognizing the uniqueness of each program and varying competitive environments, SFE, SOM, and SOF also have their own internal evaluation methods and metrics. These primarily involve the extent of collaboration with businesses and industries to create internship and employment opportunities for students, as well as activities, connections, and support from alumni.
