Teaching objectives include 3 perspectives: knowledge, competence, and literacy.

For linguistic knowledge part, we are going to learn the topic-related words and some useful expressions to express agreement and disagreement.

For competence perspective, we’ll try to understand the skills of note-taking, which can help us improve the listening skills for social news. We can also practice our speaking skills on public speech and story-telling.

For literacy cultivation, we can discuss the correct love view, also Renai （仁爱）and Jianai （兼爱） in traditional Chinese culture. In this unit, let’s witness some stories about love together.
