固体废物的定义  definition of solid waste

指在人类在生产、生活和其他活动中产生的、丧失原有利用价值或者虽未丧失利用价值但被丢弃的固态、半固态物质。

It is a general term to describe things that we throw away, including solid and semi-solid substances.

固体废物的分类 classification of solid waste

城市生活垃圾 municipal garbage：在城市日常生活中或者为城市日常生活提供服务的活动中产生的固体废物 generated from city daily life or service for city daily life

工矿业固体废物 industrial &mining solid waste：在工业生产和加工、采矿冶炼等过程中产生，包括废渣、污泥、粉尘、尾矿等 generated from manufacturing, mining, smelting, etc.

农业固体废物 agricultural solid waste：在种植业、养殖业、农副产品加工业中产生的各种废弃物 generated from planting, breeding, processing of various agricultural products

危险废物 hazardous waste：指有害废物，具有易燃性、腐蚀性、反应性、传染性、毒性、放射性等特性 toxic waste with flammable, corrosive, reactive, infective, toxic, radioactive properties
