(2) 1) I’m so overwhelmed by fear that I can’t focus on my daily activities. I just can’t help thinking about the thing that I fear and I feel sad that I don’t know how to overcome my fears. It makes me feel like I’m not a strong person. As a result, I have become frustrated and less confident in myself. I sometimes even have sleeping problems because when I lay in bed, I continue to think about my failure to overcome my fears.
2) I will become braver and stronger because after overcoming my fears, I now realize that I’m more capable of handling my fears than I thought. This makes me feel more confident in myself. Since I know that I have the potential to deal with my fears, I am ready to face any challenges in the future.
Audio Script:
Fear is a natural emotion that helps keep us safe from the many dangers that exist in our world. When fears become exaggerated or irrational, they can have a negative impact on our lives. At its extreme, fear can paralyze us and keep us from engaging in normal, everyday activities such as going to work, doing exercise, and spending time with friends and family. Fear can also limit our success.
If we look around, we see people who have overcome their fears and prospered in life. They were able to act decisively even though they were fearful and scared, especially when they needed to help someone. Each time they did this, their confidence increased, as did their success. If we can overcome our fears and act, we can succeed and prosper. Not only that, we become braver and stronger. What fears do you want to overcome?
