“不认同自己是中国人，是一个悲剧！”

“难道要让青年人没有未来吗？没有前途吗？封闭在一个3.6万平方公里的岛内吗？”全国人大代表、全国人大华侨委员会委员陈云英的三连问掷地有声。


"Are we going to let the young people have no future, no prospects at all? Should they be confined to an island of 36,000 square kilometers?"



3月9日上午9时，十四届全国人大二次会议台湾省代表团在人民大会堂台湾厅举行开放团组会议。代表们审议国务院组织法修订草案修改稿和“两高”报告，并回答记者提问。

▌我们有共同的历史文化

小彭一大早便来到了位于人民大会堂一楼西侧的台湾厅。匾额上的“台湾厅”三个字用繁体汉字书写。



The three characters for the Taiwan Hall were written in traditional Chinese characters, which are commonly used by the local people of Taiwan.


会议开始前一个小时，可以容纳60人的媒体区早已座无虚席，大家都非常期待今天的提问和交流。




▌“不认同自己是中国人，是一个悲剧”


全国人民代表大会自第一届起就有台湾省籍代表，1975年四届全国人大首次设立了台湾省代表团。五届全国人大决定，在实现祖国完全统一之前，台湾省暂时选举13名全国人大代表，其余按人口比例应选代表的名额予以保留。



台湾省全国人大代表大多是在祖国大陆出生的台湾省籍同胞，他们中既有党政机关领导干部，也有在科技、文化教育、医疗卫生等领域做出突出贡献的专家学者以及经济界的代表性人士，有的来自东部沿海发达地区，也有的来自中西部地区，具有较强的议政履职能力和广泛的代表性。


The Taiwan delegation to the National People's Congress consisted of 13 deputies. They work in diverse areas and in multiple places throughout the Chinese mainland.




在会议的媒体提问环节，一位记者就两岸关系的发展前景提问。

“台湾的社会在弱化，分离主义会非常猖獗，”陈云英表示：“对于台湾同胞来说，‘不认同自己是中国人’是一个悲剧。”


"In fact, to our compatriots in Taiwan, it is a tragedy when you hear someone say, 'I do not recognize myself as a Chinese'."



陈云英着重介绍了今年两会期间她提出的关于“加强实施台湾青少年爱国主义教育”的建议。


“提这个建议的时候是很‘心疼’的。”陈云英认为，台湾当局对青少年实施“去中国化”教育，每年都会新增几十万“不认同自己是中国人”的年轻人。在台湾地区选举时，他们又会再一次被“自己不是中国人”的认知洗脑。



她认为台湾青年不应该只局限于“3.6万平方公里的岛内”，他们的发展不应该成为“去中国化”炒作和分离主义的牺牲品。

▌“我们对未来抱有热切的期望”

青年是未来的希望，两岸关系的未来在青年。在场的媒体朋友们都很关注两岸青年的交流活动。


The future of cross-Strait relations lies in the youth. The youth of Taiwan are a buzzing hot topic among many.




全国人大代表、全国台联常务理事陶骏提到了杭州亚运会时，两岸青年运动员同场竞技、相互加油，令他非常感动。




陶骏还表示：“青年群体的很多经验体会，会很大程度影响社会的其他群体，对推动两岸融合有很大作用。”


小彭问全国人大代表、辽宁省台联会长周琪，未来会做哪些工作来增进台湾人民、尤其是台湾青年群体对于两岸共同历史的了解。


“近代以来，中国革命的每个阶段，台湾同胞都不曾缺席。两岸同胞一起抵御外侮、传承文化、追求民族解放，这就是我们共同的历史记忆，”周琪回答说：“我们将开展台湾青年交流活动，通过参观‘九·一八’历史纪念馆等，让台湾青年了解这段历史，弥补他们缺失的历史知识。”




为什么我们如此重视青年，尤其是在台湾问题的语境下？或许是因为我们对未来抱有热切的期望。


Why do we hold the youth in such high regard, especially in the context of Taiwan? Perhaps it's fueled by our hopes for the future.




“为台湾同胞全面融入祖国，我们每一年都在努力，每一天都在奋斗，”陈云英坚定的发言感染着在场的每一个人：“我们相信，有一天真正实现完全统一的时候，两岸同胞内心是没有隔阂的，你中有我，我中有你。”


"We are working hard every year, and we are struggling every day. If we do our duties well, we believe that one day when reunification is truly realized, there will be no gap between the compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and all members will be part of an intimate family."



这次台湾代表团团组会议的开放，让我们看到了台湾省每一位代表是如何履职的，也见证了他们为祖国统一所做的努力。


我们有理由相信，未来一定会如大家所愿，统一与共同发展是美好的明天。
