Learning Outcomes

On completion of this unit, and in reference to the structure and function of digestive tracts, you should be able to

  1.     Demonstrate the general structure and function of digestive tracts.

  2.     Demonstrate the structure of mucosa in esophagus, stomach and small intestine, and how the structure relates to the function.

  3.     Be familiar with the general structure of oral mucosa, tongue, taste buds, and teeth.
