1.1 Lead-in

In this part, students will be engaged in the discussion about happiness so as to reflect on the theme of values.


1.1  The discussion questions are as follows.

     a.  Can money bring happiness?

     b.  What does "a life full of riches”mean to you?

     c.   What does happiness mean?

1.2 Three viewing materials will be released here as viewing and listening tasks.

1.2.1Watch the video clip “Money Can't Buy Happiness” and answer the questions in the test.



1.2.2Watch the TED talk and try to answer the questions.

(In the TED talk, Michael Norton shares with us his fascinating research on how money can indeed buy happiness.)
