分析:____That_____the campus singer contest of our school will be held next week. That引导的主语从句在整个句子中作主语。因为从句中句子成分完整,That作为引导词,没有实际意义,不作任何成分,只起引导作用。
2.This bag is beautiful and the price of it is reasonable, but __whether__I actually need it or not is a different matter.
分析:but后面这个句子中,whether I actually need it or not是由whether引导的整个句子的主语,因为whether和or not构成搭配关系,所以用whether作为引导词来引导该从句。

分析:that引导的从句跟在谓语动词后面作宾语。that作为引导词没有任何意义,在从句中不作任何成分。这个从句中也不缺句子成分,所以用that来引导。
2. The experts have done detailed research on __why/when_____ young children are more likely to get bitten by dogs.
分析:介词on后面的成分是宾语,是由why或者when来引导的宾语从句,why作原因状语,when作时间状语,放在该从句中都讲得通。
