2. 教学基本要求

1) Make students have a general idea of  post-war British literature.

2) Make Ss know some leading writers and their masterpieces in this period.

3) Make Ss analyze and understand the reasons for the diversity of post-war British literature. 

4) Make Ss know some important writers' writing ideas and their masterpieces: George Orwell's Animal Farm, Nineteen Eighty Four, William Golding's Lord of the Flies, Kingsley Amis' Lucky Jim, John Fowles' The French Lieutenant's Woman, Doris Lessing's The Golden Notebook,Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot,Ian McEwan's Atonement, V.S. Naipaul's A House for Mr. Biswas, Kazuo Ishiguro's The Remains of the Day.
