Farewell speech
Today, it is my great honor and privilege to be given this opportunity to say a few words of impression and appreciation on behalf of my fellow students of this course.
I can still remember vividly some weeks ago when we first came to USQ. I can still see the eager anticipation eyes of each participant. And in the meeting room, as we are formly introduced to the lecturers,staff and homestay families in this program. I can still recall the feeling of anxiety and anxiousness in waiting to meet our homestay families on that day.
As the days go by, we also progress in terms of TESOL knowledge and skills. For instance, teaching methodologies, reseach methods, Testing and Emmersion Program and some other culture differences.
Yes. Time really flies fast.
We are happy because, we have just concluded our training and this Sunday we’ll leave for Sydney. Fourth of March, we will be home and with our respective families—whom we missed so much for this six weeks.
But we are also sad now, we have to say goodbye to this country and USQ.
Now I’d like to congratulate all the staff, lecturers and homestay families. You are the ones who made a difference in our lives. And so today allow me to say our thanks to many people who made the differences in our 6 week journey in Australia.
