Welcome to Unit 9.
This is our last unit for this semester. We will be doing our final exam next week. But since we are moving into the holiday season, we saved this unit for last.
Do you enjoy holidays? Do you have fond memories of holiday celebrations when you were a child?

About two weeks ago was American Thanksgiving. Canadians also celebrates Thanksgiving, but they celebrate it in October. On pages 163-164 of your textbook there is a short passage about Thanksgiving. Go ahead and read it now. After you finish reading, you can answer the questions below.

December 25th. That is the big day. Some celebrate Christmas Eve, which is the day before. Others celebrate the whole seasons which can be twelve days or from Christmas Day to New Years Day. Some just celebrate the whole month. Here is a short video with a very famous Christmas Carol (Christmas Song). In this video you will here a traditional Christmas song. But you will also see many images, customs, and values that are part of the whole Christmas tradition. Enjoy.
Let's keep moving through the unit now.
