Today we are going to look at Text 2 in Unit 3.  This article is called "How to Watch a Movie".  This article has advice about how to understand and enjoy movies more .

Before we get into the article I have a movie trailer for you to watch.  But what is a movie trailer?

movie trailer: a short video made of highlights or clips from a movie to promote the movie. It is usually released months before the full movie to build anticipation for the upcoming film.  (Trailers are typically 1.5-2.5 minutes long.)

Go ahead a watch this trailer now.  And be ready to answer the discussion question that follows.

Now open your textbook to page 54 and read the article.  Remember, just underline new words the first time through - you can look them up after you finish reading the article the first time.

After you have finished the article, you will answer the reading comprehension questions on page 57.
