1. Do you think politeness can help resolve complaints or claims? Why?

For reference:

Yes. When we are resolving complaints or claims, politeness helps to calm our customers and makes them feel that their requests are being taken seriously. Politeness also helps to prevent further escalation of disputes, so that problems can be solved faster and better.
