After completing this unit, students should be able to:

1. place an order after negotiating terms;

2. distinguish a general order from a mail order and a phone order;

3. identify the differences between an order and a contract;

4. talk about some of the general terms relating to orders and contracts:

• -product quality, quantity, packing, delivery/shipment, terms of payment,

• -insurance and arbitration;

• contract duration, execution, alteration and termination.
