Quality packaging with a smooth touch or even fragrant smell could trigger the impulse to buy. A lot of detail is focused on the packaging to highlight its superior quality which is true most of the time. Some companies even spend more on packaging than the product itself, which has guaranteed increased sales and profits.
Designing the layout of the packaging is another crucial element to entertain the customer to become attracted to it just by sight and touch alone. The design of the product and packaging can play a crucial role in attracting customers due to its uniqueness from the rest of the product.
Make your packaging design different from the rest to make it stand out more from the displays. Art entertains the eyes of the customers and it is a brilliant way to let the mind experience the product through their imagination. Many customers like to try new things and the only way to buy something that is worth their investment is through the depiction of the art or image of the packaging. Transport in International Trade
After conclusion of a business, the supplier delivers the goods to the buyer in accordance with the time of shipment, the ports of loading and unloading, and the means of conveyance stipulated in the contract. This practice has to be fulfilled by transportation.
There are a lot of means of transportation: by road or rail, by sea or air. And in recent years, combined transport which is a road-sea-rail carriage has developed. On the basis of “safety, expedition, veracity and economy”, buyers and sellers would choose a reasonable means to transport the goods according to the principle in the trait of the goods, the amount of goods, the nature of goods, the conditions of the ports of loading and unloading, and the international politic situation.
When goods are loaded on board a ship, the shipping company will issue a bill of lading to the shipper. It is not only a receipt of the goods but also a contract for performance of certain services upon certain conditions. The bill of lading, together with the insurance policy and commercial invoices, constitutes the chief shipping documents. In the mean time, the seller should promptly advise the buyer of its effectuation. And the buyer will have to effect insurance on the shipment upon receipt of the shipping advice from the seller.
In the case of an export business covering a large amount of goods, it is necessary to make shipment in several lots by several carriers sailing on different days, which is called partial shipment. When there are no or few ships sailing direct to the port of destination or the amount of cargo for the certain port of destination is so small that no ships would like to call at the port, transshipment is necessary. Of course, partial shipment and transshipment should be allowed by the buyer in advance.
The container service is also widely used nowadays. The use of containers provides efficient forms of transport by road, rail and air though its fullest benefits appear in shipping, where cost may be reduced greatly.

Modes of Shipment
Ground
Land or "ground" shipping can be by train or by truck (International English: lorry). In air and sea shipments, ground transport is required to take the cargo from its place of origin to the airport or seaport and then to its destination because it is not always possible to establish a production facility near ports due to the limited coastlines of countries. Ground transport is typically more affordable than air, but more expensive than sea transport, especially in developing countries, where inland infrastructure may not be efficient.
Shipment of cargo by trucks, directly from the shipper's place to the destination, is known as a door to door shipment and more formally as multimedia transport. Trucks and trains make deliveries to sea and airports where cargo is moved in bulk.
Ship
Much shipping is done by actual ships. An individual nation's fleet and the people that crew it are referred to as its merchant navy or merchant marine. Merchant shipping is the lifeblood of the world economy, carrying 90% of international trade with 102,194 commercial ships worldwide. On rivers and canals, barges are often used to carry bulk cargo.
Air
Cargo was transported by air in specialized cargo aircraft and in the luggage compartments of passenger aircraft. Air freight is typically the fastest mode for long distance freight transport, but also the most expensive.
Inter-Modal
Inter-modal freight transport refers to shipments that involve more than one mode. More specifically it usually refers to the use of inter-modal shipping containers that are easily transferred between ship, rail and truck.
