总评成绩=平时成绩×30%+网上学习×20%+口试成绩×25%+期末笔试成绩×25%

Topicsfor Speaking Test 2023CAE SPRING

The speaking test includes two parts as follows:

Part I. Conceive of a typical sceneof civil aviation service, then act out the scene.

The scenes forreference: Check-in service; SecurityCheck; Boarding; Duty-free shopping; Pre-flight service; Dealing with in-flightemergencies; Customs Check ...

You need to simulatethe process of your chosen scene and create a dialogue.

 

Requirements:

1. Take the test in pairs or groups (better inpairs);

2. Your acting should be at least 3 minutes;

3. Submit the text of your speech when taking the test;

4. Before taking the test, prepare some necessarystage properties;

5. While taking the test, you arenot allowed tospeak Chinese and carry the textbook or note with you.

If youcannot meet the requirements, the points would be greatly deducted.

 

When preparing, you may refer to the dialogues,videos in the textbook, Classroom PPT and the topic presentation materials onChaoxing, or other materials.  

 

Example:

Make up a dialogue between a passenger and a check-in clerk based on the following situation:

Simulatethe general process of check-in. You dialogue may include the followinginformation

u  Be checked for valid documents

u  Check in baggage

u  Ask for special accommodations

u  Ask for next procedure

Part II. Answer some questionsregarding civil aviation service

In this part, you will be asked to answer one of the followingquestions.

1. Would you please talk about thegeneral process of Check-in and types of check-in?

2. What are the procedures of asecurity check? What kinds of items are prohibited to carry on board the plane?

3. Whatitems does a safety demonstration mainly include?

4. Do you know how to do with some medical emergencies on board?Please give specific examples (airsickness, nosebleeds, cardiac arrest)

5. Do you know how to use a lifevest?

6. Could you introduce some brace positions?

7. Would you please introduce howto fill out Customs Declaration form and what should passengers do to gothrough the customs?

 Contents (50 points) + Way of delivery (30 points) + Pronunciation(20 points )= 100 points
