Communicative functions

1.发生什么了?飞机要坠毁了吗?What’s going on? Are we going tobe in an air crash?

2.并没有,先生。别惊慌。我们正在通过空气湍流区。No, sir. Don’t panic. Weare passing through a turbulence area.

3.能给我一些餐巾纸吗?我的鼻子流血5分钟了。Can I get some napkin? My nosehas been bleeding for 5 minutes.

4.先生,请将头部稍微往前倾,用拇指和食指捏住鼻子,保持十分钟。我的同事会给您送来一个冰袋,敷在鼻梁上。please bend your heada little bit forward and pinch your nose with your thumb and index finger likethis for 10 minutes. My colleague will get you an ice bag to put on your nosebridge.

5.请问如何给救生衣充气?Could you tell me how to inflatemy life vest?

6.您可以通过下拉手柄,您也可以从吹气口往里吹气。记住不要在机舱里面充气。You can inflate it by pulling at these tabs or you can blow into the mouthpieces. Remember not to inflate it in the cabin.

7.情况很严重,医生说是突发心脏骤停,要求飞机紧急调转,前往最近的医院。It’s a very serious situation. The doctor has said the passenger is going into cardiac arrest andhas requested the aircraft should divert to the nearest hospital urgently.

8.紧急情况!请在座位坐好,系好安全带。保持镇定并遵守机组人员的指令。下拉氧气面罩,将其扣在口鼻上,自然呼吸。This is an emergency.Stay in your seats with your seatbelts fastened. Remain calm and follow the instructions. Pull down the oxygen mask. Put it over your nose and mouth immediately and breathe normally.

Hello doctor, thank you for coming forward. This passenger is unconscious and he stopped breathing for a few seconds. We have administered CPR for two minutes and he’s breathing again, although his pulse is very weak and his breathing is shallow. We’re just administering oxygen.

24.我觉得胸口不舒服。呼吸不动,我还有点儿发晕。我之前犯过心脏病。我很害怕会不会又发病。I don’t feel well withmy chest. It’s hard to breathe and I feel a little dizzy. I suffered from aheart attack before. I’m really scared it might happen again.
