( TG=Tour Guide—Li Hua/Linda; TL=Tour Leader—Frank Brown; T1=Tony; T2=Alice )
TG: Good morning, everyone.
T1: Good morning, Miss Li.
TG: Unfortunately, the weather is going so bad today. Our proposed tour of the Summer Palace is not possible in this heavy rain today.
TL: Would you like to show us around the Beijing Museum?
TG: No problem. Good idea, if time permits, we will visit the craft and antique market as well.
T1: Cool! How many hours do we have for shopping?
TG: About two hours?
TL: Great! In my view, two hours is enough. We will meet at the entrance at 5:30 p.m..
TG: Bear in mind everyone—keep your valuables safe and secure. The places we visit today would be crowded.
T2: Is there any special advice we should know about if we buy antiques?
TG: I’m glad to mention this, madam. Our government does prohibit certification for some genuine antiques and Chinese artifacts to be taken out of our country.
T2: Oh … I’m quite nervous, because I hope to buy some ancient artifacts.
TG: Don’t worry, madam. I will be happy to be with you if you need any help with this special type of shopping.
T2: Wonderful, Linda.
TG: OK, Let’s go. The bus is waiting for us.
