Dear parents,
I hope everything goes well at home. I’ve been in the university for more than one month, and I really enjoy my life here. So don’t worry about me.
On the morning of September 11th, I entered Hubei University of Medicine with great joy. What impressed me most was the accommodation conditions which was better than I had expected. When everything was settled, several enthusiastic senior students showed me and some other freshmen around the campus.
Although our college isn't a comprehensive university, the fascinating campus and seniors in white coats gave me the passion for the
school and a sense of responsibility as a future doctor.
In the first week, our routine was to participate in abundant activities and lectures, to understand the rules and regulations of college, which
helped us better adapt to college life. The formal classes began from the second week, our teachers took us to explore the charm of medicine with advanced facilities, and a beautiful picture of professional life kept emerging in my mind.
In addition to regular classes, we also learned a lot from class meetings held by our counsellor, Miss Wu. She told us how to behave well in college and what to do to lay a solid foundation for our future.
| visited the school library during the National holidays. There were a wealth of resources and materials for us to read and a sea of knowledge to acquire.
In the past month, | had many opportunities to get along with my classmates especially my roommates, and | have found we have a lot in common. | sincerely hope that we can pursue our dreams in the future, attaining our original goal of getting into a graduate school and become more broadly educated people.
I have to end my sharing now. My roommates are calling at me to do exercise outdoors. Hope both of you are in good health. I’ll miss you.

My university life
Dear parents，
Long time no see! So am I exciting that I cannot wait to share my school life with you.
Embraced by a chain of hills, next to Shennong Mountain, our school is located at the foot of renowned Wudang Mountain, a Taoist Holy Land earning national reputation.
At the first day, we take a stroll around our school with the company of several heart-warming seniors. The solemn library, vast gyms and advanced labs are all opening their doors to my fresh university life. And what impresses me most is the library, where we can acquire knowledge ranging from the professional to the extracurricular. The library in our college seems to host boundless amount of collections.
In addition,I take pleasure in visiting with my roommates about a variety of topics: getting by on little sleep, seeking for our new passions, and sharing with bitter-sweet past. I have established a good relationship with my roommates and I have confidence that we will triumph over any barrier by helping each other.
Apart from this, we are overwhelmed by a wealth of classes that make me emerge as a broadly educational person. Not only do we absorb knowledge from major courses and elective lessons, but we also take decent reviews approaching to online applications such as 学习通，U校园，批改网 and soon. We may lay a solid foundation for our future if we make the most of these resources.
Last but not the least, I resolve to set about a new routine currently that makes the most of available resources for self -enrichment. For the future, I am thirsty for advancing my professional abilities profoundly and fulfill my responsibilities as a excellent doctor who dedicates herself to the development of the nation's medical enterprise as well as mankind's physical and mental health for all her life.

Dear daddy and mommy,
How time flies! It has been almost two months since we departed. I do miss you so much.
Mom, you used to describe the college life as a rose, blossoming in the morning sunlight after darkness. And now I recognize that you are right. My brand-new college life is as fascinating as a rose, colorful and vigorous.
My school has its own unique and beautiful scenery, such as WeiHu. WeiHu is a man-made lake over which crosses a little bridge. Lotus grows in the water and I can imagine how fascinating the picture is in summer. Except the natural environment, my college offers a wide range of facilities as well. For example, we have a comprehensive library with a large amount of collections. There are abundant resources and materials for students to study by themselves. In addition, rooms in HuiDe apartment is well-furnished so that we can live comfortably.
As for study, it is a totally new learning-system for me. College life makes knowledge exploration become a part of my daily routine. We are expected to explore every avenue until we find an answer. Students with ambitions need to set higher goals for themselves and should know how to attain them. To help those students, my college has set all kinds of basic classes like Advanced Mathematics, College English and some major courses like Medical Chemistry, Medical Cell Biology, Medical Genetics and so on. We even have some virtual classes such as Military theory class, which needs our school ID to take. The majority of us value these great resources and lessons, and would make good use of them. I’ll never lose my enthusiasm for learning. Apart from acquiring knowledge needed for my profession, I start to take regular exercise. I am sure I will reap the benefits of being fitter soon.
